Changing times !!

Hello Everyone !! Once again after a long time. More than 4 years after my last post, to be precise.
A lot has happened both on personal as well as professional front. So much so that one post would just not be enough to tell everything. In fact it would take many posts if I go in detail of everything.

First thing first..I moved to Jamshedpur to join Tata Steel. Having worked earlier in IT MNCs, to join an Indian manufacturing company like Tata Steel was quite an important decision of my career. Me and my wife were trying to get settled together since a long time after our marriage(in June 2009). In fact we had already spent 2 years in search, to find some respectable job at a common place. Both of us were exploring the options and trying for it since a long time. Finally I got this information about the opening in IT division of Tata Steel, from one of my college friend and applied for it. Got through it. With some compromises, decided to join and have been here since then. In between completed my mba from xlri evening batch (2012-15).
After I moved to Tata Steel, my brother joined Intel, Bhabhi joined her M Tech course at IIIT Blore..All these happened within a very short time span. Can't forget the day when I was moving out of Bangalore, to start a new life at JSR. Bhaiya was crying like a small kid, or you may say like a mother. Had never seen him so expressive. This could have been the effect of weakness from inside, which later got aggravated..Finally it culminated in anxiety and he had to take medicines for it.

Have experienced ups and downs on professional side here in Tata Steel. The office environment is so full of politics and favoritism. Although you may say it that it is present in almost all corner of the corporate world, the only difference is its deep rooted presence here. The worst part is that when you listen lecture from s**t people, without being in a position to do much, you feel disgruntled. But fortunately in such lot of filthy people, there are few who understands and values the talent and doesn't just go by their own perception. Anyways, you got to deal with such useless people who are in majority, and should have the ability to identify the ones who understands and values the talent. Thats the only mantra for success apart from possessing the real talent and identifying your own strengths. I realized it a bit late here. But as it is said, 'Der aaye durust aaye' I think there is no going back now. I am enjoying my job currently, since it is my interest area and pretty much inline with my specialization in MBA. Not planning to look for another job in near future. But who knows, if s**t people sitting on top of department takes the boat to a direction from where there is no coming back, then I may have to take a different route.

That pretty much summarizes about whats happening at my professional front. A lot has happened on personal front. Many of them I can share and many which I can't. So let us keep it for some other time. Like always, I promise to myself again that I will be more regular on blogs now onward.
Good night !!
